The Delaware Black Expo Extravaganza Weekend is 4-day long event (Thursday-Sunday) consisting of a series of events that will Empower, Inspire, Educate and Inform!!! These events are the: Being Beautiful Is Being Me Scholarship Pageant, the 2012 Delaware Black Expo and the Sunday Jazz Brunch
How many days is the Black Expo?
The actual Black Expo is a 1-day event (Saturday 12pm - 7pm). Other associated Expo events may be on other days and times than Black Expo Saturday. In future years, if sponsorships, participation and interest grow, we plan on the Delaware Black Expo being a week long series of events.
Is the Expo a FREE event?
Yes! The 2012 Delaware Black Expo - Saturday, April 21, 2011, is a FREE event. This includes the admission, entertainment, visiting exhibitors, seminars, career opportunity fair.
Other associated Expo events may charge a small fee or be closed to the general public.Why is the Expo FREE?
Plain and simple - the Expo is a FREE event to encourage a maximum turnout. We understand that an Expo can't be successful without people. So, we taken the issue of "cost to attend" out of the equation!
